Well I decided to try out some other PSOne emulators than ePSXe, because I cant record anything with that. (Emulator lags when recording video). I saw someone playing FFIX with this (pSX) emulator, so I downloaded it and tried how it works for me. This one doesnt have plugin system like ePSXe does, and is a lot simper to set settings. Of course there is not as much options and this emulator is not as good as ePSXe is, but at least this doesnt lag that much for people who doesnt have new and that good computers. Graphics arent as good as what they are when playing with ePSXe with right settings, but its not that big deal. Also music sounds stupid with those drums when you listen battle theme.
I havent tested this emulator more than 10 minutes, so maybe I can get it to work better, now there is very little lag spikes, but when doing this with ePSXe those spikes makes it unplayable. I found out after I recorded this video how to remove that CD text in the lower left corner, so it is not there anymore. Also this is my first time using and recording with CamStudio, so some lags like when running in world map are by CamStudio. I was in a hurry so I just set CamStudio Lossless codec and 95% quality and tried this fast, so maybe I can improve that too. In general this emulator looks OK after long 10 minutes testing:D, and if I start FFIX or other PSX game, I will probably record it with this.
May 23, 2013 I've been trying to get Final Fantasy 9 as a rom file on my Mac for a long time now and everything I try just won't work. I've downloaded the Playstation emulator PCSX. When I do, the first thing that pops up is a 'Missing BIOS!' Final Fantasy V: The FF-Reunion website is reporting that Final Fantasy V is making its way to the App Store, at least in Japan, by the end of March. The title is said to get the usual overhaul for iOS, but until then you can always play the Game Boy Advance port through an emulator.
